Stones Throw Records is an independent record label based in California. Stones Throw was founded in 1996 by DJ/Producer Peanut Butter Wolf.

Stones Throw artist family includes Madlib (Madvillain, Jaylib, Yesterdays New Quintet, Quasimoto, Lootpack), J Dilla, James Pants, Gary Wilson, The Turntablist (aka DJ Babu), Rob Swift, Rasco, Breakestra, Oh No, Dudley Perkins, and Koushik among others.

Stones Throw has been collaborating with several designers and artists a couple of years now, the most notably with the Dutchman Parra of Rockwell, releasing sets of limited edition t-shirts that have vanished from the retailers' racks in no time.
