Wel­come to the new site (which is still in the early start so please bear with us). A new project is always a tough one but it’s def­i­nitely look­ing very promis­ing. We have now a few inter­est­ing fea­tures up on the site and many good ones on the pipeline.  We would like to thank the peo­ple who con­tributed and trusted us on this.

Where we are and where are we going?

As you may have noticed our stocks have been quite empty this year partly because my part­ner has been in New York for the major part of it and I’ve been still try­ing to pro­vide excel­lent cus­tomer ser­vice (mean­ing ship­ping your orders the same very day or the next at lat­est) and han­dle the busi­ness as usual. The another rea­son is that we’ve grown up and we’ve been think­ing a lot how the whole Mash­mar­ket thing sits in to the big­ger pic­ture (there are quite a few side­ hus­tles from graphic to brand design that we’re involved with besides the actual store).

Many fac­tors have led to the point where we are now but since this com­pany is largely a pas­sion issue for us we want to take it where our pas­sion is so it was time to change. The past years have been a great learn­ing process for us, and now we wanted to step up, learn some more and share it with you.

We have started think­ing the whole site more as a mag­a­zine with con­tent that we feel is mean­ing­ful. This new approach is a nat­ural con­tin­u­a­tion to our his­tory in e-commerce, retail and design. We’re doing our best to drive it for­ward along with our own label and collaborations.

Not made in China

We feel that it is impor­tant that peo­ple know how things are made, where they come from and what the sto­ries behind them are. We also are mov­ing more and more to a direc­tion of man­u­fac­tur­ing things under our own brand.

NORTH, NORTH, NORTH

This year we will start to intro­duce many prod­ucts and com­pa­nies from the good north and also world­wide. Besides launch­ing the new site we’re work­ing on a series of prod­ucts with clas­sic Nordic twist and heritage.
